I'm seeing if there would be in any interest in my camera, I bought it last year as a fathers day present to myself and I don't use it nearly enough as I thought I would.

It is a T1i with a 15.1 MP CMOS sensor and capable of recording video in HD up to 1920 x 1080, and has a HDMI port so you can hook right up to your TV

Canon EOS Rebel T1i Product Information (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&sku=A2575867)

It was purchased through Dell as a camera w/ with kit lens for $750, I also purchased a 2 year warranty that covers the camera should you drop it and it not funtion properly or at all. I also purchased the Canon Camera bag kit that has rearrangeable compartments inside, a spare battery and a UV filter lens. The final purchase was a screen protector which has been installed over the 3" LCD screen since it came out of the box. Speaking of, I do still have all the cables, CDs, and original box still hanging around somewhere.

It is in excellent condition seeing as I've only had to charge the battery twice since owning it, has taken only ~500 pictures or so. Will also come with a Lexar 16GB Full HD Video memory card (http://www.lexar.com/digfilm/sdhc_video.html) and a Dynex tripod. In total I've spent maybe a bit over $1200 on everything, and I've been wanting to pick up another lens but I just can't justify spending anymore money on this thing especially as little as I use it.

I'm looking to get $900 for everything. And should you drop it and it not work any longer, give it back to me and I'll warranty it for you as I don't think it is transferable to another owner.

If I can't get a good price for it it will just sit on top of my desk and be used every now and then. But I'd rather it go to someone who could really use a good camera...

would you sell just the body?

would you sell just the body?

It would make it difficult to get rid of the rest of the bits and pieces, I don't know if it's worth the trouble to split it up. :thinker:

How much is just a body worth?

Body alone ranges $500-$900 depending on condition, shutter actuation's, etc.

Know of any other places I could post this at where I might get some interest?

I thought about it and would like to help you out, but it would be too much of a hassle to try and sell off the rest...

idk if you wanna sell local or what-not, but you could try http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum or even HI or Craigslist. for the price of what you're asking, it should go pretty quickly.

I've got a proposal for any of you on a photography forum or any other place you can think of where this might sell. If you can find me a buyer for my camera I'll give you $50 cash, simple as that. All of the sites I've registered on require you to post and be a member for so long before you can submit a for sale ad, and I just don't have the time to post in each forum to be able to submit one.

If they require actual pictures of the equipment, let me know and I'll snap a few...

I've been wondering about the price but everyone who has commented on other forums just say they don't have the cash for something like this at this time(economy?). I figured with everything you get it was a pretty damn good deal.

Oh well, like I said in my OP it's been doing more sitting than it has been taking pictures and wanted to see if there was any interest. If it doesn't sell it will just keep sitting on the shelf and be used sparingly...

And don't worry about coming off like you're knocking my sale, you aren't going to hurt my feelings by letting me know I'm asking too much for it.
