so i took my car to hrp last nite and i was nervous as hell. this was my first time to run my trans am. i managed to run a 13.4@ 109.5x mph on my first pass, missing 2nd gear and still pulled on a supercharged mercury marauder. i need to work on my 60ft big time. but they wouldnt let me run no more cuz i didnt have a helmet, so i paid for just one run.:mynameisben: ill post up the other info off my slip when i get home.

now if i can only fix my misfire in cylinder 3 and get my dyno tune ill be set to go again.

but i just kno that if i had more runs i would of ran better. that run was on my first pass.

That's a good mph, I ran a 12.76 with that same trap. Just knock down that 60ft, I believe I had a 1.96 with that pass. 12s are easy money.

ok so i went back today, with helmet in hand. my best time was 12.8 @ 109mph, then i broke something. my car didnt wanna go in gear. i would rev it up and it would just bogg down. so i let it cool off and limped her home. gonna see wut it is tommorrow when i get off.

overall im happy with this run and will improve with better tires.

Cooked the clutch hydraulic fluid? Take the cap off and see if it's black. The line runs right beside the driver side header/manifold.

Your clutch may also just be taking a dump. Did the pedal stick to the floor at all?

no, the clutch would let me put it in gear and when i let off it came back up. i put it in gear and it wouldnt let me rev my car at all, then it would barely rev and start going and then fall flat on its face. once it would get momentum it ran just fine.

it just takes some getting used to .cutting a good tree is the hardest part. I havent been in forever. prolly like 3-4 years! i sure do miss it though
