So I took Matt's EG to Evadale Raceway (he left it with me since he was in Austin, just in case the weather was good enough to take it out for some runs) to see what I could get it to trap at. Before going, I had to make a solid motor mount as I noticed the stock driver side top mount was busted. I didn't have much time, so I quickly figured out what I could make and spent about 20 minutes setting up and installing it. The stuff you see in the pic that looks like rust is the liquid that was in the mount that splattered everywhere when it broke. Here is a pic LOL:

I drove it there, teched in and run the car on street tires. I managed to line up with my buddy Randal who has a newer model Mustang GT. He usually runs mid/low 13's at 103-104. I figured he would be a pretty good run, given that I really had no idea what Matt's car would run. Come to find out, we had some very close racing, with me actually getting a hole-shot win on the first run. The EG is a vitara piston/ eagle rod turbo build on what we've been told is a 57 trim. It's boosting about 20 lb on 93 octane. I was in the right lane on both runs.

first run I got the hole shot and win. I didn't want to beat on the car, so I just rolled off the line without a hard launch or anything.

2nd run i drove the car a little harder but still took it easy out of the hole. I didn't want to break axles or the differential. I still got the win hehe

Once the car has a better clutch I will try to get it out of the hole a lot quicker and run some 11 sec passes. It felt so good in 4th gear on the last pass it was hard for me to let out after passing through the trap:rotfl:
