im not claiming to be able to get this low or to not hold on lol... but getting pretty low like this isnt super hard guys.... matts bike was pretty low yesterday? the back tire started drifting(sliding) at about 120 in a curve :)

I want to know where you guys were riding so that you could get low in a curve going 120. Or was it a stretch of hwy where the road just happened to start curving? Regardless, cheers to drifting your bike Matt. :beavisbutthead:

well it was really close! from a 20 it was pretty close i barely had him and about 140 he would start to inch towards me... lack of power on 600 compared to other bike and from a 60 i jumped out about a bike on him and kept it till about 145 or so.... (matts bike runs good) makes up for shitty driver mod

I'll just be over here anxiously waiting for the inevitable thread with a news story about how DPS had to use spatulas to scrape your remains off the back of a dump truck...

This.
Take it to the track, like these guys at MSRH did a few weekends back. I was there this day, but did not take this picture. I stole it off HPC's forum from a guy who posted the pics after he got back from this expert level track day.

We need a track around here. It gets scary pushing on the street. With the fear of hitting a patch of gravel, new hole or bump etc. etc. factor in traffic ... it's not worth in the least. Too many unknowns.

Sliding sideways at 100mph is pretty fun ... hanging off a death machine at 100mph is pretty fun too :D

You freakin said it! I was getting reckless on mine too out on the street there for a while untill I hit some gravel 13k revs into 3rd gear mid corner on a back road. I still ride aggressive, but not like I was. I've decided track days will be where I take it if I want to ride like Moto Gp from here on.

Nearly the exact same thing happened to me. I hit a bump I had NEVER seen on a road I ride nearly every day, it unbalanced me a little and I was just getting back into place when I hit a patch of gravel ... felt the ass end of the bike shift and I did my best to keep it straight. It could have gone much worse. It's hard not to be dumb because they are so much fun.

marcus is right. over exagerating your body position will get you to look lower than you are. now this guy here is hauling balls, dont get me wrong. but most guys that claim to drag knee do so by hanging there leg out and making it touch.
