There are enough tweaks to the 2009 RX8 to call it substantial, and this 2008 summer released specail rs version will showcase some of the tweaks. Lower gear ratios, 19" wheels / tires, better oil and water pumps for "improved acceleration feel" whatever that means, and numerous suspension tweaks and interior accents. I love these cars personally, and if it wern't for their sketchy motors and poor fuel economies I'd give up beer to be able to own one.

Im not a huge RX8 fan but that one is not bad. The wheels are a big step up for that car.

The wheels are 19's though! That design is awesome, but in a 19? It would cost so much $$$ to replace those tires.

I'm hoping that whatever ecu revisions and engine tweaks they do to this new version rx8 make it a more livable every day sports car. The fuel economy and unpredicatble nature of the rotary make me second guess my wanting one of these. By the way, the mazdaspeed 3 I was looking at last week, didn't get bought. They wouldn't give me more than 12,500 for my Accord!
