So I'm planning on doing another bbq on Apr 17, 12:00 p.m. @ Pleasure Island (same park as last year. The one as soon as the bridge ends, it's on your right). I know how to marinade some mean steaks and was wondering if anyone knows some recipes up their sleeves and if they want to help out with the bbq with grilling and seasoned food and stuff like that. Who grilled at the last P.I BBQ? Was it grinch? Who will supply the grill, etc.

For the people who don't know where is Pleasure Island, I'm thinking about meeting at Tinseltown in Beaumont around 11 and roll out to cruise around 11:20 - 11:30.

From tinseltown, we will go down 69 south and take Avenue A exit (W. Port Arthur Road (93)) right. Then left on 73 on to 82. Then you will pop up into the picture below where we will host at here...

Sooo... Rumor around the unit is that PI Park is infamous for frequent events of "Inappropriate Relations". Are we sure that we wanna have it there? If not, I'm sure that Rogers Park on Dowlen would be a cool place to have it.

Also, where abouts on PI? Are we talking about the park right near my Small Boat station or further down behind the PA Yacht club

This weekend, I will look at rogers park and see how crowded it gets out there so I know if we have spots. I kinda doubt it, but we'll see. If it's a good possibility that rogers can hold the bbq without any problems, then I will make a poll about which park would be suitable. Rogers or P.I. . But for now, we'll hold it at P.I.

Thanks to those who showed up and contributed to the BBQ and making it a success, though Jeb got my worried a little. Had fun! Hide and seek at the castle was fun and Jeb's shoe getting stuck on the pavilion was pretty funny.

Shea told me to pull another one late summer and he'll help me organize it so next one will be better hopefully. Different location possibly. Who knows.
