This was a VERY tough decision for me but due to a planning an addition to our family, I have made the decision to sell my baby.
Year: 1992
Make: Dodge
Model: Stealth
VIN: JB3XE74C9NY043601
Mileage: 70,149ish
Color: Bright Red
Transmission: Manual
Title: Clear
Location: Beaumont, TX
Other: AWD, AWS, ECS (Electronically Controlled Suspension), Active Exhaust, adjustable side bolsters on drivers seat.
Asking Price: $6500
Contact: 804-986-7778 / lennpitt@yahoo.com / lenn.l.pitt@uscg.mil
The Good:
-As of yesterday, the odometer read 70,149 iirc... and it works just fine.
-Transmission/T-case/clutch/rear main seal/t-belt/water pump/oil pump seals were aaaalll replaced at 55k miles in March 2008. The tranny and Tcase are a Kormex 25 spline unit wich are upgrades from the stock 18 spline units. Clutch is a Spec stage 2 and grabs like a mofo.
-Tires have 10k+/- on them.
-Front brake pads are brand new.
-Rear brake pads are ~50% remaining.
-RF axle replaced last month.
-Both front wheel bearings replaced within the last three months.
-All new Memphis Audio Street series speakers.
-Interior is a solid 8.5-9/10.
-Exterior is a 8-8.5/10.
-AutoMeter Ultralite A-pillar mounted boost guage.
-Removed boost control solenoid restrictor plate. Now boosting 12psi instead of stock 8.
-Airbox delete adapter. Cone filter installed. (Have stock airbox with K&N drop in filter that will come with car)
-Knock off Greddy Type S BOV (again, have the stock BOV that will come with car).
-Gutted Pre-Cat converters. Large center one still in place.
-How many other nice reletively unmolested 3/S cars do you see?
The Bad:
-Paint is 18 years old and is starting to fade slightly on the trunklid and rear bumper but comes back to great with a nice coat of wax.
-It has a slight and I do mean slight oil leak from low on the motor. When I say slight, I mean that it has been sitting in the garage for 10 days unmoved and it has not dripped onto the floor yet.
-The strut plates are going bad and over rough roads, you can hear them shifting around. (I can fix this but it will reflect in the price.)
-Very small cut on the LF seat in the oddest spot... right near where the seatbelt rests. Its a clean cut (almost like a knife or something).
-Dash defrost vents are cracked apart wich is a common charactaristic of the 3000GT/Stealths.
General:
99% of the active members on here can vouch for the condition of the car. Its in prestine enough condition to be used as a "Show Go'er" but also used enough not to scare you to drive daily.
Here's a few pics. They are a few months old but the car is in this current condition. Interior pics are newer than the exterior pics.
