thats true but the gtr was pretty much stock, the civic wasn't. None the less that is one bad civic.

why is everyone so shocked? the GTR isnt a 1/4 horse, and never was. hell top gear showed the nsx-r putting almost a full second on a gtr in the 1/4 mile YEARS ago. who cares its a 4k+ lb car that clowns 95% of stock cars in its intended element i/e road racing....

Any eco box civic that even runs 12's is still impressive to me. Regardless of the civic being fully built and bla bla bla, thats like running a c6 z06 and beating it. Its bad ass to take down a car that is looked at as virtually "untouchable" to the poor guys building the eco boxes.

I would say the civic did a bad ass job regardless of its inability to beat that GTR on a road course LOL
