can a vehicle pass state inspection with a check engine light? (p1560 back-up ecu voltage low) its a 02 wrx by the way. thanks
also are reverse lights ness.?

Yes to both.Only Houston is a stickler for check engine light.Reverse lights aren't necessary,just a courtesy for other drivers so they don't plow into you.lol I have a question on inspections too though.
Will my car pass with no high beams?I got hid's and I don't have high beams anymore.

I've failed a station in pa for a cel, and I'm more then sure in houston they will fail you for a cel also. the no high beams I doubt they will fail you for that.

when i look at the txdps website i believe it says nothing about reverse lamps and it says something about you can have one CEL...but i dont know ifim reading it right.

Reverse lights aren't needed for inspections.
Although highbeams are.
