its teh LSx motor of the import world. Except for its only made its way into an older camaro unlike the LSx motors being in every RWD platform ever made by an asian company.

The reason why from my understanding is that the 2JZ is pretty much cheap power and the parts for it can be obtained easily. BMW's performance stuff factory or aftermarket for their BMW motors doesn't get you any where close to what the 2JZ got them in the same car. So... why not do the swap?

I actually just started looking into this swap, my neighbor has a 94 convertible bmw that she may get rid of and it's either a 2jz or an rb25. the 2jzge (non turbo) are cheap and all you have to do is mainly change the pistons and bam you have the turbo block. cheap and easy.
