I know a group of us have been planning to go to Evadale this Saturday and was thinking the more the merrier so we extend the invitation to the forums so we can meet and greet and have fun.

i think 6ish would be good. they open at 12 for the outlaw 8.5s event saturday, runs start at 2 and qualifying at 3, so that gives the event about 3 hours or so and maybe itll be close to over by then, and that gives us until midnight to get in as many runs as we want and get our moneys worth. me and andrew are going regardless haha so if you want, ill set up a meet spot for everyone and we can all roll out there together. ill be running the bike and so will andrew. run what ya brung fellas =] arjay says if he cant get off that day, then he'll just come after hes off

Nah, I havent been to work this week yet due to damn jury duty. Thats where I was headed Monday morning when we saw each other.lol But I'm hoping to be back to work by Thursday and I'll talk to him then. I went ahead and got one of my emploees to give him the heads up today, so hopefully he'll roll with us.

nah not gonna strap it or anything, just gonna run it how it is..lowered :b
i doubt ill be able to run those times, who knows, ill be able with a low 11 sec pass. but im hoping to cut 1.7-1.9 60' and as for mph? anywhere between 118ish-127ish. im giving myself a lot of room to play with i guess you could say, i have no idea what to expect from the bike to be able to say realistically what im going to run, its just all hopes haha

I don't know if this has any affect on us street tired guys out there, but on Evadale's website they are having a "Outlaw 8.5" competition along with test and tune and it says (No Street Tired Cars Please). Meaning almost all of the cars except Arjay that I know of is the only car that can run???

very freaking doubtful. Idk how you got that idea. The first time we brought the rsx to evdale they were having the same type of event and it went all night.
As for the street tires thing, I think last time I ran on street tires there while they had an event thing going on, they put you out of "the groove" i guess. Like... more to the side so your tires aren't in the groove that the slick users are in. something like that.

The event is going to last pretty much all day until night time like our last visit as Andrew pointed out. Hopefully you'll have better luck this time since we're getting there earlier. There will be just test n tune inbetween the event races so should be able to get runs in. They're expecting a pretty good turnout for Saturday.

Woot went to the track and i was very pleased for my first time ever at the track especially on slicks. 1st run was an 11.86 @ 116 w/ a 1.77 60ft. 2nd run they put me on a 1/8 mile and i ran 7.62 at 93 w/ a 1.72 60ft. 3rd run was done by a friend who had trouble getting into 5th but he ran a 11.97 at 97 w/ a 1.75 60ft. Very happy with tonight. Towards the end of the night the steering wheel was violently shaking so we called it a night. I was gonna run one more but some trail queen mustang blew his motor and from start to finish blew oil down the track, 12 in wide 1/4 mile long. Only thing that seems to be fucked is the knock sensor. And i honestly dont know how that happened.

It's coming along. I think my rsx is the big focus next month. It will never be as clean as the bike but, hopefully it will be as fast as it. :thumbsup:
