I'll be hosting a ride on Sunday October 11th. We'll run through the forest and out to Texas World Speedway for the RideSmart event. RideSmart will again allow us to sit in on a classroom session (or two) and go out on the track for a few laps.

Meet Spot 1: Shell Station at 290 and Hwy 6 (NW Houston)
Time: Meet & Greet at 8:00 am
Riders Meeting: 8:20am
Kick Stands Up and 8:30 sharp

2nd Meet Spot: Valero Station at 105 & 149 (Montgomery)
Time: Meet & Greet at 9:15am (we should arrive around 9:30)
Riders Meeting: 9:30am
Kick Stands Up at 9:40am sharp

You must wear your gear to ride.
Helmet, Jacket, Boots (or at least shoes that cover the ankle), Jeans & Gloves are MANDATORY!
Knee Pads, back protector & leathers are recomended.

As always, no riders will be left behind..... So there is no pressure to keep up with the bike in front of you. ..... The pace will be conservative, so noobs and 2up riders are encouraged to join us.

If you have never done a trackday or never been to this track, this is a great chance to go out and do a few laps around TWS and see what all the hype is about.

TWS does have concessions for lunch, but to prevent hassle, you might want to bring a little cash. You can pay with credit card, but you have to order your food, then go pay in the pro shop, then come back and pick up your food. Much easier to just carry a little cash.

I will be hanging out at the track for the rest of the day, so there will not be an organized ride back to Houston unless you want to wait until the event is over and you are welcome to ride with me back to Houston. However, TWS is right off Hwy 6, so getting back to Houston on the freeway is quiet easy.

Remember, all new riders that come on this ride that have never done a trackday will get a coupon for free leather rentals for their first trackday with RideSmart. Be sure to get with me so I can get your information.

Please tell ALL NEW RIDERS that you know about this ride. Let's help make them better riders with free classroom sessions!

As far as I know, it's just a couple parade laps so, I would assume we wouldn't need to do that.

I'm pumped! This will be my 1st time on the track and I've been wanting to do this for a while. I also got another guy maybe coming. His name is Dale, he sold me both my bikes and rides a zx14.

Weather keeps looking worse and worse for Sunday. I'd love nothing more than to go, but would hate to make the trip and get caught in rain. I'm gonna be watching throughout the day to see if the reports change any.

Idk , I don't want to get caught in rain. Weather.com says 40% chance starting at 1pm. Reluctantly, Ima sit this one out.
