View Full Version : What do you guys think
I might end up selling my Si sedan. It's an 08, white, with basic bolt on intake mods and a torque damper. Its in great shape, new tires, and has a dent that I can get taken out for $150 before selling. I've got about 28k miles on it, and have changed the manual transmission fluid every 3rd oil change since new, and completed all other maintenence ahead of Honda recommended schedule. Runs strong, gets great mpg, and is fun. What could I ask for it on open market do you guys think?

A dealership will lowball you...probably for $14k or so. You could sell it privately for $17-18k. Resale value is very good on the new Si.

That's what I was hoping. I've never sold a vehicle online before. Do you have suggestions on which site would be the best to advertise it on. USI not included because it's understood as the best already.

Since I got the new zzr, I have all the performance I need. With my new job, I could really use a truck, but refuse to accept the current fuel economy they offer. I am going to buy a 2010 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI 6spd. I'll prolly tint the windows really dark, put a nice coilover kit on, along with some clean ass wheels to "Toughen" it up...lol. I need the functionality of the wagen, and the fuel economy is top notch.

put it up for sale on autotrader.com
x2, you can get all kinds of sellers from many different places on there. if you try other places like USI or H-I etc. places that not enough people know of, you wont be able to get your car sold as fast as you want IMO

not only that but places like HI and other forums are buyer's markets. putting it up for sale on autotrader would even out the playing field as far as selling your car for a reasonable price goes. GL with the sale if you do decide to sell it.
