little story behind this, I've been planning on selling the supra so I could get an eg civic, due to finding my job was closing I wanted to start looking in bmt for a new job and looking for something much better on gas, well luck came and I sold a few things (thanks evomex) and had a little spare change went to a friends house to just drop of a part for him, saw a little something on the side of his house, he said it had a spun bearing, after a few days of thinking I figured I'd call him work out a deal pick it up. sure thing two days later I'm the proud owner. then last night I went out to htown at 1 in the morning to pick up a b18b1 longblock for spank me dirt ass cheap. this will be a preview of whats to come.

PS: I STILL OWN THE SUPRA IT'S NOT SOLD YET.

so here is the debut of the new daily, seeing how I've been looking in bmt for a new job, decided to get something that will save on gas, bought it with a spun rod bearing, drove it home at like 5mph a few blocks, got on hi.com and searched and searched finally found a decent priced ls block for 200, went at 1 in the morning 2 days ago picked up a full ls long block for 200 instead dude threw in brand new timing belt, water pump, oil pan gasket, and a few other things pimp deal. the car is gonna get a flat black coat after it gets on the road.

YES I KNOW IT NEEDS A WASH.

okay quick update this dam think just kicked my ass, well only on thing the bracket that holds the intake to the block, just cut me 3 times, and cracked my right thumb nail in half pos but the heads off, it started to rain so I couldn't get the block off just yet but come tomorrow it will be out and disassemble, and the new block and goodies will be in place so tomorrow I should have it 3/4 way finished.

the head is out the block is still in it attached to the tranny I'm about 1 hour away from pulling it total but need an extra set of hands to pull the block out, then I'm going to reattach everything, waiting till missing4lugs or somebody to get off work or come to p.a. (cough cough mike cough couch) and help out. till then I'm gonna lay on the couch cause my back started to hurting pretty bad, shit is fucking up like i'm 90. almost didn't make it up my stairs just now.

so we have some good news, so two days ago we got the block out had a hell of a time getting it out few things got stuck and took a minute to get a few last brackets off, well today I spent all day swapping everything from the old block to the new block, me and my friend jason and stanley(missing4lugs) got the new block in and bolted to the tranny, so tomorrow I will finish with all the a/c altenator brackets and hoses install the head and install the timing belt and things and have a running car

A BIG FUCKING THANKS TO STANLEY (MISSING4LUGS) AND MY FRIEND JASON WITH OUT THEM I'D STILL BE FIGHTING WITH THAT DAM MOTOR. THEY WERE A GREAT FUCKING HELP DOING THIS WITHOUT A ENGINE HOIST.

okay so finally thanks very much to mikesrex and missing4lugs because with out them I wouldn't be posting this right now, so last night we finished the wiring and tighting things and changing the oil and we tried to fire it up, first attempt battery was dead, and glad I brought a battery charger, then we fired it up and it started to spray from the fuel filter, wasn't tight enough, second attempt it fired up with no problems, I don't have the headers on so it was loud as fuck. but we let it set for a minute and then reved it up no spun rods or anything, only thing now I am going to do is actually change the timing belt because the one that was givin to me was bad (yes mike getting that today) and bolt down all the accesories so yes people pooprajoe has succesfully swapped a motor and it runs. so I have a new daily finally with this situation that I'm in I'm hoping I won't have to sale it but never know. I will post a video when I get home that we took on the cell phone. sorry already for the crappy cell phone footage I'll have to take some shots of it rolling with the new camera I just got. thanks again mike and stanley.

j/j congrats man

well the supra is on hold for now not real plans as of right now to do anything with it, having the maxima totalled puts all my money and time in finding the right daily but once that is done and finish buying all the things for my baby thats coming eventually the supra will be up and running perfect, that will be the ultimate teaser when I get it finished. trust me it's coming. but I'd rather spend money right now buying my pain pills then buying the new bearings and head gasket that I need.

p.s. I will honestly try and post that video up sometime today been super busy with this new position I got at work.

Ok so little update on the teg, so since last time I tried to drive it around the block and the timing belt shredded down the street (bad fucking luck) well I pushed it home and parked it and left it sitting, well today I finally got the nerve to tare it apart and take a look at the damage, well figured out some how the timing belt moved and I guess hit the valve cover, and then got stuck there it spilt about 1/4 of the timing belt straight down the middle of the timing belt, well it only took about an hour to pull every and when I popped the head off there was absolutely no damage at all. so all I need to do is get a new timing belt and slap it back on and bam back in business. at this point of time I love fucking hondas, my dsm did something silimar (bad brand new tensioner) and it bent every valve and broke like 4. so in the next few weeks it'll be back running.

well I finally got to drive the integra with no problems today, finally got the timing belt installed, and only thing left is to clean the interior, install the altenator and slap in the timing belt cover and the other few belts, and install all the kill switches and disable switches to insure the car is safe. but it's 95% done but up and running.

I can put the teg to rest finally, it's done.... I know wow phillip finished a project it amazes me also. I finally put a bunch of miles on it from pa to nederland, I was pretty determined to finish it tonight, after many nights working on it at 1a.m. cause thats really the only time I'm able to work on it. at first it was smoking pretty bad, but I believe that was probably due to oil spilled when pulling the head last time or it was finishing the seafoam treatment I performed awhiles back. but it was a decent ride to it, the only thing left is to install a/c and ps, but who cares about that, I may need to install a new clutch in it, I was smelling a really sweet smell burning smell while driving. But it did last threw a few burn outs and 6-7k revs with out any issues. it kinda sucks I might sell it for the project EvoG.

Also I must thank a few people for helping out with it first and foremost my best friend Stanley (missing4lugs) he helped so much in the swap, mike (mikesrex), and marcus (forgot his user name). with out yalls help this swap would have had bent valves and taken a hell of alot longer to complete.
