So rewired a fuel cut off switch yesterday and the fuel pump wont kick on. CHeck the fuel pump with a battery and its good. Took out the Main relay and soldered 2 dry joints but still wont turn on the fuel pump. Looking at the relay around each solder and all in the green are brown markings. My obvious assumption would be that the relay is fried??

The obvious assumption (if was previously running) would be to start with WHAT YOU MESSED WITH.

I personally would wire a relay when adding a cut off switch.

It was running. DIdnt touch anything until i came out and the car wouldnt start. Because one of the wires came out of one of the connectors. stripped it down a little but the solder at the switch came undone because the person didnt do it good and it made a spark. From there on even hooked back up right it still would start. There is no power coming from the wire from the relay to the fuel pump.

Sounds like you may need to find a relay.

Yea, I would try a junk yard first. Honda is gonna want an arm and a leg for it.

Yea, I wouldn't pay anymore than about $30 for one used.

I'm sure Brad is correct also :rotfl:
