288 S to Hwy 6 going towards Sugarland ( Right off 288 S ). Ride a few miles then hit 521 S ( Left off Hwy 6 towards Sugarland under overpass ), and ride about 7 miles. Next take a right onto Sandy Point Rd and ride it till u intersect FM 1462. Sandy Point is about 5 miles long and filled with tight sweepers and switchbacks, plus there are lots of parts where the roads are covered with trees to shade you from the sun while you ride. Take a right off Sandy Point onto FM 1462 and then ride a few miles taking a left onto Cow Creek Rd. Ride Cow Creek all the way down to I-35 and then ride back up Cow Creek and to FM 1462 again. Cow Creek has more high speed straights and much higher speed sweepers, plus there are some nice lake areas you ride through. Very scenic stretch of road. Once down cow creek and back up, take a left onto FM 1462 and ride about 2 miles and take a right onto FM 762. This will take you all the way to 59 and has MUCH higher speed sweepers. Jeff was taking these at about 90, and as it was my 1st time on the road, I kept it at about 75 through the fast turns. All in all, this was a great ride, and we finished it with Hooters.... haha. Call me if anyone is ever in Houston near Pearland and wants to ride. :beavisbutthead:
