4wheelers anyone?

What did you have? What did you use it for? What was the reason for selling it?

Likes/dislikes etc. If you could get one now what would you get?

i had an 86 suzuki lt125 was good for riding wheelies up and down the driveway. :beavisbutthead: thing was so light you couldnt get it stuck if you did just get off hit the gas and push it lol. but yea i could ride a wheelie for a mile on that thing then i blew out 2nd gear from reving it up and jaming it into gear to pop the wheels up. so i had to tear it apart to fix it. went to put the gear back in it got it together then it wouldnt shift out of 2nd. so i sold it for 100bucks

We have two and I don't know the specifics, they stay mostly at the lakehouse for hunting season.

I had a 02 i think honda rancher with 27' green outlaws and ITP rims and a lift i liked it alot i used it for the mud but if your lookin at a 400ex id say thats not what your looking for but if you are one thing that will benefit you in the mud is independent suspension for shore i had polaris go through the a hole i got stuck in three times after on stock tires same displacment...but idk if that helps...400ex go for it

the 400ex is used for racing mainly ive driven a 350ex and it was crazy fast. faster than I expected! feathered the throttle and I was in the air lol

400ex was a great bike. Handles awesome, has decent power, easy to work on, and you can pick 'em up cheap. I would probably buy a newer 450cc Honda if I did it again.

I had a 03 yamaslamma grizzly 660 with 27" mudzilla's and i also had a 04 yamslamma big bear 400 with 2" lift, stage 2 jet kit, supertrap exhaust and 28" outlaws....


If I had to do it again, I would go with a Polaris 800xp or 500 ho but i really want a rzr....

400 big bear, 2 inch lift, 29.5 outlaws, pipe, jet kit, clutch kit, radio and snorkel. but it sadly got stolen a while back by some loser and trashed. when the cops found it the oil was milked and everything destroyed. its still in pieces waiting to be put together

mines in pieces also,motors over at T&S in groves,gettin a new crank and web racing cam put in it, it went under 7ft of saltwater in IKE and ran for close to a year after the hurricane

Here's one of my current bikes. It was completely submerged in Bridge City during Ike. Sat for 8 months full of salt water. I pulled the carb and cylinder head, flushed the bottom end, and repainted the frame/suspension. I've spent around $300 bucks on it now. New battery, new choke slide, and new rear brake shoes (not related to Ike damage). All the electronics work fine and it doesn't burn a drop of oil.

The only problem is that all the packing rusted up and blew out of the muffler. It's about 2x as loud as a stock Rancher lol.

ya id be less mad if Ike claimed my bike. but someone stealing ur pride and joy and destroying for the fact that they are a loser and cant afford their own it sickening. i ragged that bike for over a yr and still looked new. it took them 6 days to make it a complete disaster. im still wondering how they hit something hard enough to bend a highlifter diamond plated bumper that was over the factory pipe bumper. if uve ever seen a big bear front bumper ull understand what i mean. it was bent in a U
