g-shocks are huge right now, but you can go to wal-mart or champs to get a g-shock.

Ok. . .. but that didn't answer the question:
What popular cultural entity has pushed these to the point of being "in style"?

g-shocks are dope. all I am saying is that they are more mainstream now than ever before. have not checked the selection over at champs or wal-mart. just heard that they did have them in stock now.

we will have the more limited g-shocks in all assorted flavors in a few months.

not sure on the 'cultural entity' that you are referring too. pharrell williams of NERD and nigo from bape, started rocking the g-shocks a few yrs. although, their g-shocks were iced out and they also did some special collabs with bape x g-shock.

all I am trying to do is introduce people to new products. I am sorry you do not feel that they are 'stylish'.

the style is coming from young adults not all wanting to where big silver or gold watches like their grandparents, yet they want something durable. not hating on regular watches, as i rock a bulova, but its nice to have a regular watch that isn't metal, which is lighter, you're less worried about scratching, and will last longer than some walmart hunk of shit.

Cool, that's what i was wondering.
I don't see anyone around here wearing them, even at the Dallas Imports meets on wednesdays, so i was just wondering where it was coming from. Just not my style i guess.

Thanks for the info guys!
