View Full Version : Next Bike Thread
Post up what you would either like to be riding one day, or what you know your next bike is gonna be.
1. I'm debating either between an 09 FZ6 or an 09 SV650S
1. 2002-2003 Yamaha R1
2. 2004-2006 Honda CBR1000RR
3. 2006+ Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

The MV has 190hp and 90 ft-lbs 1078 inline 4. Suspension is Marzocchi fronts and sachs rear. It has a tube frame, single sided swing arm,Brembo brakes, and slipper clutch. Costs $24,000
The Aprilia is pretty much the same except it's a 999cc V4 and regular frame and swing arm design. It was sportbike of the year 2009.
holy crap...almost 200hp..but that MV sounds like a mean bike.
i had never seen or heard of them though but hey..more possibilities.

I saw one at the International Bike Show 2 years ago. It was a limited edition with carbon fiber fairings. I think I might have a pic of it somewhere.
nice. man i cant believe ive never heard of these bikes. if you got a picture of it, please post it
Have any of you guys ever played TT (Tourist Trophy) for Playstation 2? Its from the makers of Gran Turismo only it involves bikes. Anyways, talking about the MV's and Aprillas made me think of it. Great motorcycle game!

Valitino Rossi's M1. When your bike is pushing around 500hp and you need a skid control. thats fast!
Not that any of you won't one day be able to afford a $25k-$40k+ bike, but I am posting my 09 250r on craigslist today so that I can get my more affordable step-up bike. As soon as it sells, I'm looking at getting either an 09 zx6r or a left over 08 zzr600. I know, I change my mind constantly, but after having sat on every bike I could think of. I like these. I'll post pics of my for sale 09 250r in a bit on the for sale section of usi.
Anyways, the zx6r is a beast, and the zzr600 is a great sport tourer. The zzr's main downfall being that it's carb'd too. I think the ins cost will be the same for either bike, and of course the zx6r is a few grand more and alot more track focused. I went and sat on both bikes yesterday, and was talking to the same sales guy who sold me my ninja. He says I should just get the new zx6r and that it won't be too powerful too soon for me. He rides a zx10r, and was trying to also sell me one of those too...lol. If I sell mine in the next few weeks, then depending on what I feel is the right bike, I'll have either the candy plasma blue zzr600, or a kawi green zx6r.

I'm asking 4k because the dealer told me they are going new for 5k sometimes plus. The bikes only 2 months old and I've taken great care for it. I definitely won't go below $3500, and hope it sells so I can get a bigger toy.
