wooot, me and matticus will hopefully be getting ours this summer somewhere in the golden triangle.
My buddy called me this morning and wanted to go riding. He has an 09 R6. Anyways, we rode 250 miles in a five hour period. It was great! Mostly back roads, we finished near Galveston, then headed up 646 to Hwy 6 then back 288 N. I'm hooked. :D

Just completed today. There were definitely some good tactics learned, and about 75% of them were low speed (under 20 mph) maneuvers. The rest were emergency braking situations (both straightline and cornering) and evasive. I definitely have a better stategy to enter into corners (blind and sweeping), and my emergency braking is alot smoother. The most difficult for me was learning how to pull tight u-turns w/out touching the ground and going out of their boundries. Some of the people had never ridden a bike or driven any type of manual transmission vehicle, so we spent LOTS of time working the friction zone of a motorcycles clutch. Anyways, nothing amazing, but it was still a good course for me to take and a great one for a completely novice rider thinking about buying a bike. A few people did drop their bikes, but nothing while moving faster than 5mph or so. They just lost balance during ight low speed cornering and the bike fell.
