My sister's car (99 saturn SL) spun a rod bearing. I'm looking for some parts to get it back up and running. I'd rather start off with a fresh crank than rework the current one.

www.plastikracing.net or www.sixthsphere.com if you want forum deals... locally parts are tough to find, Fiesta auto salvage is the only yard with them in stock. Also, just to make life easier, '99 is a bastard year for Saturns. They're technically the 2g body, but the dohc's (SL2's) have the 3rd gen (00' - 02') head.
The Saturn Wiki says the 99-02 cranks should all be the same
http://saturnwiki.org/index.php/Swap_Guide#Crankshafts
The sohc and dohc block and internals from the same year are exactly the same.
Post on the forum what you're looking for and most people there can get you the right part. I have to admit I'm a bit rusty on info since I haven't logged on there in quite a while.
I do have my old motor out if you want the crank off of it but it put a piston through the side of the block when the cap studs failed.

if the crank is still good I'd like to get it (and the rods) from you

cause of failure was oil starvation (loaned the car to a friend for a few weeks and he never checked it). So I'm not sure what condition either are in, will see if I can pull the crank by thursday if not, this weekend.
