you probably won't find a shop that will remove the cat. It is a multi thousand dollar fine to do so. You can take it off yourself and trailer the truck to a shop and tell them you use it for show only. Or, like i said earlier, take the cat off, knock all of the ceramics and wire out of it and mount it back up.

Thats what I did, I gutted mine myself. I diddnt gain any power, but it prevented possiblle engine detonation. Just unbolt them from the exhaust, take a long pole and jab it in there the break up the larger parts, then use a wire brush (or something similar) to knock out the remaining pieces. Then I used some cleaner stuff in an aresol can to get the dust off the walls, then washed it out with water really good. Thenb I dried it out with an air compressor.

It took me about 3 hours on the MRS because of there the cats are located, but on your truck I bet it could be done in about an hour if that long....

Or you could do what a buddy of mine did, rev the engine up a whole lot to get the cats nice n hot, then spray cold water down the exhaust to crack the cats up. Then use your friends moms broom to dislodge the rest.... He was an idiot by the way...
