These are slightly used (about 1000 miles) 9012 bulbs actually designed for John Deere tractor headlights. The plastic housing been slightly modified to fit a 9006/HB4 lowbeam. They are completely safe as they generate no more heat than a regular halogen bulb and it draws the same amperage and wattage as the stock bulb it replaces. They are about 75% brighter than stock and are a good alternative to more expensive HIDs. Many higher end cars, such as the Viper, come stock with 9005 HIR bulbs for their highbeams.
