I'm Austin. I'm 20 and going to college for electrical engineering and I just bought a bone stock '02 Civic as a daily driver while I fix up my other car, a '97 Firebird.
But while I have it I plan on fixing it up just a tad, maybe just wheels and lower it. But anyway, here's the car:

Still kicking around some ideas. Right now it's got the V6 in it, probably swap in a bigger V8, maybe just buy a 355 a friend built up.
Still deciding what direction to go with the car, most likely end up with a street/strip drag car.

I don't know who sold you on either of those :rotfl:
Electrical is one of the harder disciplines. I can't really see IE, ME or CE being harder than EE. Circuits, modern physics etc., I don't consider those easy classes. As far as pay, ChemE's typically start out around 80-100k a year. I have a friend that started out at 120k. The 2 buddies I have that are EE's both started out just shy of 70k. Now depending on which website you read today you could see IE's starting out higher than ChemE's LOL None of the "averages" really matter IMO, we all make decent money after we graduate.
In the whole scope of things, do what you like. Don't base your choice off of income, its not worth doing something you don't enjoy for the rest of your life.

It really depends on what you're doing, EE is such a broad career

EE is not really specific so the pay can range fromreally low to very high it just depends onmany things.
