there's a guy at work trying to setup a race with a guy who's car is supposedly untouchable. its a late 60s camaro. he wants to put serious money on it. i don't know what it has, just know his name is lurch. race must be at the track. so if you know anyone willing to run or that knows what this guy has. post it up. i'm trying to get a track time, but the guy at work doesn't know. so ask around. i just want this guy at work to shut the fuck up about how his guy will beat anything, and everyone knows of him and how fast he is.

I live right by Randy Becker, this older guy that has built several hot-rod setups at his house in Orange. He's out at Evadale basically every weekend. I'll stop by and talk to him and see what I can find out and maybe get a track time if he knows!

Where is this guy out of?

i have no idea. all i know is that the car you definately DO NOT want to line up against is that one called "gold dust" that used to be at evadale.

nah i know none of the pachars work at twin city honda. it runs like 8's i think. I've heard of that Robert Herrin guy I think. that name sounds real framiliar

i dont know craigs brother and dads name but i know craig from highschool and cars. he used to work at greenlight motors in west orange. I didnt get a chance to run by and talk to Randy Becker yesterday. I'll try to do that today

ok i know who you are talking about. hes a street racer that goes way back in the day b4 most of us wer even around. if its the same car as always its a old 76-80s body style camaro. its a full race car, cage and all from what i remember. has a big block with lots of nitrous. runs off into the low 10s on motor pretty easy and deep into the 9s on nitrous. this is what the car used to run when i used to hang out with them down at the car wash on 4th st. once again this is what the car was like a year ago. dont know what its like now. but the guy knows his shit. and i dont think anyone would want to go fucking around with those boys bc they wont race for money unless they know they have a 100% chance of winning. but this is just my 2 cents take it or leave it.

you got a better chance of that car backfireing, blowing the intake bonnet off and you making a full pass and winning. that car has never been anywhere near 6.50s hahah that funny maybe 1/8th mile. i did hear that it is a decent 1/8th mile car dipping down to the low 5s but i dont think its ever made a full quater mile pass under power all the way down the track.
