Help! Amp / Sub

Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me with this...

I have this amp

Kenwood Excelon KAC-X10D

and this sub

And for some reason... when i wire it... it seems like the amp isn't pushing anything at all... very very very little hits.

Any clues as to why?

I bet your sub is wired to 8 ohms.

Make sure its wired in parallel like this http://www.jbl.com/car/product_support/SubwooferWiring/sub_wiring_diagram.aspx?type=1-4-2
and be sure to adjust your gains

yeah.. it's not wired parallel at all. I took out the sub to look at it and its wired single. 1 neg 1 pos

Well change it to like in that link. Do you mean only one voice coil was being powered?
