i bought some edead 45 the other day and put some on yesterday, the results are awesome, bought 40 sq ft dead the front 2 doors 2 layers think a good 50% out the outer skin and 40% on the inner skin, and 1 layer for the back doors and 1 layer for my whole spare tire area, think i have like 12sq ft left, but wow the effect is wonderful even with my loud ass balding tires the road noise became really quiet, bumps and stuff also. not to mention the music seems much warmer now, much clearer it seems?i can just tell the difference knocking on my fender then knocking the door sounds solid and what not, so if anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative to dynamat , its also easy as hell to install, so easy i did it myself >.> that says alot
1dollar a sqft opposed to 89.99 for dynamat door kit rofl = 12 sq ft

edeads thermal capacity isn't that great :(... Should have asked me.. I only recommend 3 brands, Raammat, Hushmat, and Second Skin.

lol do our doors really get over 200 degrees? besides the price point is so much lower =) 40 sq ft dead = 40 bucks, damplifier 99$, ram which u can only buy by the roll 118 and and hushmat is 80 bucks just for a door kit... im not saying cheaper is better but its doing its job real well for the price.

besides though, elemental design has great costumer service, and if i have a problem with it i can talk to them about there ad haveing put in there product description
" Extremely High Temperature Adhesive Whether you live in Colorado, California, Michigan, or Florida you do not want your deadening falling off when it gets HOT!. The eDead adhesive is designed to withstand extremely high temperatures. " to their defense they left out texas rofl

look up the deaden showdown.

Also, if you wanted a smaller portion of BXT, I am very cool with Rick. I could have made a request for you :).

The showdown was done in 05. edead 45 is no longer an asphalt based mat like it was back then.

Butyl Mass Layer: The new eDead version 2 mat products use integrated butyl for higher temperature resistance over the old rubberized asphalt products. Improved reliability, durability, and performance at the same great price.

look up all the problems every version of Edead has caused and get back to me.
