nope! i got 2 10" kickers with a box, and 1000 watt amp for only 250 and it sounded good and hit hard. may not be as good as the w7, i dont know too much about sound systems and all that but imo i think you could get a better deal from someone else

I paid $800 for a JL 10w7 and 500/1 *brand new*. Try Amazon and get someone to build you a box :)

what kind of kicker's and amp are you runnin' though Tony?! when i used to do a lot of ebayin', i found a fosgate 1000bd for $125 or something and a 12" L7 for around $130. . .that shit slams soooo hard in my RSX right now! you just gotta find what sound you want also. i like 12"s cause they're tight bass and get more of the lower tones compared to a 10". 10"s are very clean and tight bass. but that depends on how you're wanting your box made also...bandpass(ported) or enclosed. i usually make mine enclosed 'cause it's less calculations and i'm lazy
