This setup will be tuned by Huy at Inline when i get the funds and with an OBX LSD installed. Hopefully will put down 200whp.....hopefully....if not then I'll be proud of this!

Thanks guys. it has been a long time coming. the car is currently at my dads house bc we are in an apt right now but we just purchased a house so it will be over there permanently....GAME ON!

UPDATE:

I've been in touch with skoodles and we've come to an agreement that I would be better off sending my car off to Attitude Racing in H-Town and have the head-mech. use a timesert kit to remove the broken headbolt in my block. He's done it before so I feel confident with him doing it rather than me. plus the kit is pretty pricey.

On another note. I have the funds together to FIRST OFF, pay matt for the cam gears he let me have without paying him (such a generous friend he is)!!SECONDLY, order my hsl's and obx lsd and then the usual, exhaust install, insurance and inspection. THEN for the grand finale to get it tuned! NITROUS is out of the question as of right now.

Anyone want to volunteer putting it on a lo-boy and towing it up there and bringing it back for me when it's done?! PM me and we can discuss payment arrangements and the amount!!

thanks man. it just takes some tediousness and a little effort. thats all mine is. when Mike had the car he painted it to match white and i covered up some spots but then putting it back together just took our time and tried to do it as clean as possible!

Well guys, great news! the threads are good to go! Mike hauled my hatch over to Randy at Attitude Racing in Deer Park this morning and he drilled the bolt out and everything checked out good! So its game on!!!

Next Saturday I and others will be putting it back together and installing my new cams and diff. I'll try to get some pics of the install and maybe a few with my new 22's that are coming in! why put 22's on a civic you ask?! GANSTA FA RIZZEAL!!!!

JP is gonna have a catalytic converter on his setup, so it would be probably your car makes more power. oh wait, do you have a ported head? if your head is stock, then maybe it's gonna be a photo-finish on which setup performs better.

i got a factory ported ctr head. i was told jps head wasnt fully ported they jsut cleaned it up. im prolly gonna tune my car open header. havent decided if or what kind of exauhst ima run on it.

and according to zealautoworks compression calculator jp will be around 11.3:1 and mine around 12.1:1.

either way i think itll be close motors kinda close to the same setup.

The head is cleaned up + 1 :cool:

I think I might get my car tuned on the cat and open header and see how i like it.

Hey skoodles how many setup options can you have on the hondata system?

Like for example: can you tune all motor open header and then save that and then do a nitrous tune or something like that?

your new tensioner bolt will have made a 500 mile journey once it gets to your place.

sucks when we don't have extra stuff just laying around.

yea no shit. i hate that it took that long for us just messing with that one bolt but atleast its gonna be taken care of. I'm off Friday so let me know if you dont go out of town and we can take care of it
