Painting my badges.

Ok so I've be trying to paint my honda and S2000 badges flat black and the question is how in the hell do I get the paint to stick? :confused:
I tried light sanding to scuff them up then I applied 3 to 4 light coats 15 minute apart. They just keep chipping within a few hours...:mad:

Any help on the subject would be much appreciated.:D

sand them down really well. then apply the paint and wait a little bit longer between coats. you could also bring them to get powdercoated.

When I did my Honda "H"'s a while back I soaked the emblems in bleach for a day or 2 to get all the paint off (it really works) and then sanded them and painted them.
