Got my ass handed to me..

I dropped my GF home and I was about to turn on to Mexico road off of S.America street. I spot a GSX-R rolling up to the light at the intersection of these two roads.
My light was green so I proceeded to turn on to Mexico road, put it in 2nd and as I finished my turn I gave it some throttle and let the wastegate open up.

So now I'm cruising in 5th gear making my way home and I see that single headlight in the mirror just coming up fast.
Guy slows down beside me and we get to a light. Exchange a few revs, and he says he'll give me a head start. I say to just roll off the line, he agreed.

So lights green and I slowly roll off the line, bike beside me, at about 4k rpms( 10mph?) I got WOT.
1st gear: ass end breaking loose and swinging to the side. GSX-R is wheelying beside me.:vtec:
2nd gear: I missed it:banghead:, found it and had to play catch up.. GSX-R is 2-3 cars up by this time..
3...4..5th.. GSX-R disappearing..:(
Get to the next light and chat for a bit. Turns out to be a 750.. Here I was thinking I'd have an easy kill with a 600.. :rolleyes:

Lesson 1 learned: Driving with flip flops makes WOT shifting harder and now my 2nd gear hates me.:cry:
Lesson 2 Learned: Up the boost before tryna fuck with a 750 off a light :slap:

Anyway good way to end my night.
I always seem to bite off more then I can chew.. but hey.. thats the challenge..
Picking on something that would be an easy kill is never that fun.:D:thumbsup:

I've been boosted since January Lol.

No recent vids really. But here is a video of a 1-4th pull @ 9psi.

I agree with ben. Takes a really high power to weight ratio to handle a bike on the street. And the 600s look just like the 750s lol just minor differences. Look real close next time lol
