kicker's subs have a tighter and cleaner response. i like them! and they're not ridiculously expensive like Fosgate T1's or JL W7's...but i would like to get one 12" W7! ! ! :D

i either need sound deadining or a new head unit. the doors just dont sound right. and the head unit anything after 22 you can tell a change in pitch in the highs. its like it cuts to a lower frequency. i think i'll get a new head unit first pioneer this time around then see if the subs sound any better.

i'm pro-pioneer! especially their premier line! i have a pioneer premier and it has a 12 band adjustable eq and 3-4V RCA pre-amp outs! quite nice...with adjustable HPFs and LPFs

Infinity kappa perfect 5.1 in the rear
2 Infinity kappa perfect 12" subs dual 4ohm voice coil

Alpine v12 5chl running the highs
Ma audio hk401sx on 1ohm. claims it can run .5 ohm.

i like em but im not totally 100% for them. i just got a good deal on everything.

i found out my problem is in my cd player. if i set the gains so i can turn it all the way up to 35. when i start to back the volume down it gets softer then at 22 BAM its loud again. if you go up to 23 the sound is flatter and the subs get softer. i think ill just get a new cd player first.

yea elemental design is nice. but ima get rid of all my setereo stuff for now. and i dont think ima put one in the teg maybe just some good door speakers and a 4chl to run them.

i got a 5chl now alpine v12.

but if i do put subs in a car a 5th chl prolly wouldnt be enough to push w/e i get so all i need is a 4chl for now
