Is that the new T? Also, how did vent your block? Did you run something to the bottom of the catch can or to another can, or are you rockin the stock pcv?

actually i i just have the two ports coming out of the valve cover and thats it for ventilation..the block is just capped with freeze plugs..the catch can is bone dry too(hopefully thats good lol)

i havent got it tuned yet on the new setup..the last build did pretty good for a street car..530hp 370tq runnin q-16 on 24-26 psi, best pass was a 10.82 @136
i would like to see numbers closer to 600hp this time but we shall see

So, the block doesn't vent any pressure? Why did you do away with the pcv system on the lower end? What is the thought behind that?

I'm sure your bottom end is venting the pressure somewhere, I just wonder where.

idk..i was told not to worry about it. but i need to have some vent on the the top and thats where the catch can comes in..correct me if im wrong but i dont think chester has any vent at all on his car unless hes still runnin the pcv system.

his PCV is pretty oldschool. basically pressure builds up in the bottom end and vents its way up through the valve cover. any oil vapor that travels up collects in the catch can and then pools up. then leaks back down to the rear of the block where that black can used to be. only thing about it i dont like is with that much HP he should have something pulling a vaccuum, i/e a line going to the intake manifold from the top most point of the can..
