I am wanting to sound deaden my RSX, I've never done it and couldn't imagine it being difficult, I just don't know what kind to get. I would like to know what the best bang for the buck is. Is there any particular way to install it? I would assume a heat gun but, maybe there is another way to do it.
I've also heard of people using insulation foam (the stuff in a can) in cars. Would this be something to do in the small cracks? I really don't care too much about weight although this isn't a stereo car either.
If anyone can offer any information regarding different sound deadening materials I would appreciate it :P

x2 i NEED to do my truck.
If Lawrence would get on here he would be the perfect one to answer that question. He did a lot of that on his 3rd gen eclipse.

I went with B-Quiet for the entire interior of my truck. I used 100 s.f. and have a box of 50 s.f. left if anybody is interested.
I just gutted the whole interior (seats, carpet, panels, etc.) and rolled the stuff out and adhered it in a few layers. I went a little thicker in the area over my exhaust to cut out the slight drone I had. Then popped off the door panels and put a few layers on there. All I've got left to do is my roof.

How much do you want for the extra?

Since reading and posting in this thread, I've decided to use the rest of what I have split between the roof of my truck and the doors in my Altima. Sorry, but the B-Quiet stuff I used was one of the cheapest (as shown on that link I posted).
You can find it here...http://www.b-quiet.com/ultimate.html
