What's up everyone. Name is Phu, or I go by Brandon, whatever you choose. Stay in Beaumont. Senior at Ozen High School and drive a 2004 NBP Acura TL (hence my username). And no, of course I did not afford it.

My goal is to have an overall best third gen TL in Beaumont :fingersx:, since I haven't seen many fixed up TL's around except several with some 20's or something.

Main goal this year is to prepare my car for Autorama and see what people have to say about it and chill with some locals. Maybe do a shoot or whatnot.

welcome phu. my gf's mom had an 06 tl. she now has a 08 tl. brad's gf (garage fresh) also drives a tl. i think ive seen you on college and out at kohl's a time or 2.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone! yea i drive by kohls every now and then just to see the cars and what not. I don't really get out or try to socialize because I heard the people at Kohls are a bunch of dicks that try to run people (i just heard this, not sure for myself)

But I got introduced to this guy that owns a stang, gonna be rolling with him to Kohls every so often.

C1rcu1t, were you in autorama last year? I'm trying to remember if I seen your scion there or not...

I have the front aspec and rear aspec currently. I'm not worried about the sides just yet but will get it later on.

Currently, I'm lowered on Neuspeed Accord Springs and have Motegi's FF7's...but all that is gonna change once I get the money. Planning on going lower and get R1 Racing Spikes.

OH! lol, they suck? I heard they're good, but I guess i learned something new. I'm thinking of something 5 spoke or anything that looks like r1 spikes, but doesn't cost as much as racing harts. I guess if you want quality, you have to pay up huh?

racing harts aren't much more than r1's racing hart is alot cheaper than it used to be. as far as kohl's goes, nobody will try to run you. when we're there, me, frylock, and campos give out plenty of "shit's weak" hollars at other cars out there that think they're the shit.

I've checked on streetdreams.org and the racing harts that look like the r1 spikes are like 800 hundred for each rim. :faint:

r1's is like...a grand for everything on wheelsnext. but i'm guessin that's because of shittier quality? o.O

Hey welcome to the site. I think I've seen you/your car at world gym a few times when i went. I've stopped going sadly.. anyways as far as racing at kohls goes and ppl being dicks. Im out there quite a bit in a silver Ap1 or a Red EG hatch with cf hood and wing. Nobody really ever races anymore as far as i know. and Most/all of the Honda crowd is really welcoming even a handful of the others. Once you get to know everyone it gets pretty entertaining.

Andrew....sounds familiar. You wear glasses and sometimes roll with Tony that used to own a scion? If that's you, then I came by your house during thanksgiving 2-3 years ago with Kevin and again looking for a telescoping magnet with Kevin when he was putting his camshafts in.

When I came there, you had an EG in the garage and you and your dad were building the motor and what not.

shftyazn - judging by the threads you make, you drive a 06 dc5? if you do, MAN! I want to see your car dude! I'm in love with the dc5 ever since it came out.

dude, when it's done, come give me a ride (no homo)! I was so close to getting one in houston, but price was a tad too much... It was a NBP 06 DC5. What turbo kit you're using? or are you piecing it together?

reason why i got those is because stock wheels were curb rashed to death by previous owner. and my parents wanted to get rid of it but it had to be under my parents circumstances (which was very limited)

another option is to pick up a higher quality used wheel. It is a much better option IMO. Thats what I have done in the past.

im good. been doing shit for college. and i just started going again. i got an 18 month membership monday and been going everyday haha..and about my car..ehh..long story short..my moms ganked me out of getting so many nice cars like a 5 Speed DC2 with the JDM front. supposedly, according to her, i should be getting some 2004 acura sunday. but she doesnt know what :mattsgay:

you could probably get these for 1500. they also have some others in their japan inventory you may like. the good thing about the used wheels sites, is you can ask them to come off the price. ive seen guys get up to 400 off the total just by negotiating
